Instead of dressing it up, I decided to be a little more casula and pair it with biker shorts and pumps. To finish the look, I added my current favorite bag (a vintage Chanel with gold plated hardware) and skipped off to a date with the husbae. He is still not on the biker shorts wave, but I've been feeling it since last Summer. I am all for a longer short vs potential booty fall out (see cut offs). Are you guys feeling this blazer like I am? Let me know in the comments below. And hurry! I know it's going to sell out soon.

Rather than doing the typical red for Christmas, I wanted to switch it up with some jewel tones. Read on for more on this cute, colorful look.

Merry Christmas everyone! It feels like December went on for 500 years (seriously. Am I the only one who felt that way?) so I'm beyond excited that it's finally Christmas. I literally cannot wait to see my boys' smiling faces when they open their presents. Beyond that, this holiday is so much more special once you have a family of your own.
Now, on to this look. How pretty is the color of this Femme Luxe dress? It's such cute, UK based shop and this is one of my fave dresses in their current collection. I love how affordable their clothing i and the quality is good as well. The dress is not lined but the material is not see through which is a huge plus.
I decided to play up the color and pair it with some super lit shoes I've had since my birthday last year, and some pink earrings. Who says you are restricted to red or green for Christmas? I think that jewel tones are seriously festive.
To finish the look and make it more playful, I added a green velvet belt bag. Are you guys feeling this look? Let me know in the comments below. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and I wish you an amazing 2019. Stay tuned for some more Femme Luxe looks.

It's crazy to think that this is my third ball! I always avoided red as to not be too matchy matchy, but not this year. Read on for more.
Dress: Abyss By Abby
Because of drunk dancing incidents in the past (him not me because I don't really drink), I decided I wanted a dress that had some drama but not so much of a train. The two previous years, my trains were constantly stepped on and it was difficult to dance. When I posted this look on my instagram, nearly everyone said it was their favorite. I am so glad I finally wore one of my favorite colors. There's something about red that makes me feel my prettiest. Because of the low back, I was a little scared I'd have a wardrobe malfunction but luckily I was able to use some really good fashion tape to hold the back in place (I know thong jeans were recently spotted on Jennifer Lopez, but I don't think I'm quite ready for the booty cleavage of the 90's lol). Let me know below!

I once had two of the bags and also the matching heels to this corset, but my bags were stolen by the packers when we moved to Texas (they stole our bedding, linens, and a few of my other bags and some clothes as well), and my heels are in New York just waiting for me to fish them out of the shed. This all sucks because I'm very happy to see logomania coming back around again lol. In any case, I hope you guys love this nostalgia as much as I do.
