He's here! Yes, it's a boy. Declan Xander (deck-lynn zander) (lol no one can pronounce his name for some reason ) was born April 19th at 12:49 am. I arrived at the hospital around 10:30pm and it went so quickly that I was basically forced to have him naturally. Yep. No epidural. I can now say that I had Dylan naturally too. I wasn't sure before because I did ask for an epidural, but I felt like it didn't work and that I felt everything. Now, I can say that for sure. We are so in love with our new little blessing. He's the sweetest little angel and I'm so happy to finally meet him.

You may have noticed that I've been a bit M.I.A. lately. It totally wasn't on purpose. I promise lol. Read on for more of what the Greene Family has been up to.
There are few things that had me as excited as my baby's first birthday. Initially, I wasn't going to do much because 1) he won't remember, 2) his dad is deployed, and 3) I have like 2 friends in El Paso. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it's perfectly ok to go all out (for myself) to celebrate the most amazing thing that I've done: give birth. Seriously. His birth was traumatic from start to finish. But finally being able to hold my sweet baby, after only being able to look at him, was the best thing ever. He deserved a big party. And so did I.
I went back and forth about the theme, but ultimately decided on Curious Dylan. It sums up his personality perfectly. Read on for more about how I decorated and what I learned.
I have to admit: initially, I didn't think that dressing up with my baby boy would be so much fun. Read on for more info about our looks and what we've been up to!
